Schola Amicorum

Schola Amicorum is a Boston-based Gregorian chant ensemble directed by Mr. John Salisbury. Active for over ten years, the schola is devoted to the traditional music of the Latin Church.

Since 1990, the schola has been in residence at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church ("the German Church") in Boston's South End neighborhood.

The Schola sings on the third Sunday of each month (September - June) for a noon High Mass in the traditional Latin rite, as well as for major feasts.

In 1996, Schola Amicorum appeared for the first time on CD, together with pianist Michael Barrett. The album, Angels Upon Ivory (Angelus) is available in religious-goods stores, and through the catalog of Leaflet Missal Company in St. Paul. Here are selections from the album:
